Dear Parents,
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready to begin an exciting new school year! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sister Ruby, and I am truly blessed and excited to be your child’s second-grade teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.
At St. Gerald School, we are called to grow in faith, knowledge, and love of God. This year, we will work together to help your child learn and succeed academically while also deepening their relationship with Jesus. I believe it is important to build a strong parent-teacher partnership, and I look forward to working with you to guide your child on this journey. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at srruby@stgerald.com.
Students may bring a small snack to school each day. They will have their snack in the morning. Please avoid sending candy for snack time.
Students will bring home their folder every day. Please check it daily for notes, assignments, or important information. There will also be a pocket taped inside the folder for lunch tickets. Please place lunch tickets inside this pocket.
Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday. We will begin homework next Monday.
Monday: Gym
Tuesday: Spanish
Wednesday: Library
Thursday: Computer
Friday: Music
Thank you for your support in helping your child grow in faith and knowledge. I look forward to an amazing year filled with learning, friendship, and God’s blessings. Let us work together to make this a year of grace and growth for your child.
God bless you and your family,
Sister Ruby
