Vocabulary Conversation
Create a conversation between you and a friend that features FIVE of either current or past vocabulary words from Vocab Workshop. The subject of the conversation is entirely up to you, so you are encouraged to have fun! The document is presented on a Google Slide. You may type your conversation in the individual bubbles.
As you write, keep in mind that the vocabulary must be used correctly. Simply dropping them in conversation is not enough. They have to make sense! Additionally, your grammar will affect the number of points you receive. Any mistakes will result in a loss of points. Finally, you must always remember that I am your audience and will be reading these.
A Vocab Conversation is worth TEN (10) extra credit points.

Literary Device Scavenger Hunt
Choose a book from the library and perform a scavenger hunt to identify literary devices. Indicate the book you are reading, the author, page number, and the line that uses the device. Lastly, explain the device (what comparison is it making, what sound, reference, etc.) In order to receive credit for this assignment, you must identify ANY FIVE of the eight types of literary devices in ONE novel.
Scavenger Hunts are worth TEN (10) extra credit points. However, any mistakes, such as poor grammar or inaccurate information will result in a loss of points.
