About the Teacher

This is my 21st year of teaching math to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at St. Gabriel School. Prior to being at St. Gabriel, I taught high school math for 6 years and spent several years at home raising my children.

I am a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics Education. I also have 16 graduate hours in education towards my Master's Degree.

I have 5 grown children, 3 girls and 2 boys and am the proud grandmother of 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, 1 of whom attends St. Gabes. In addition, I have another grandson on the way!

In addition to my love for teaching the beautiful middle schoolers at St.Gabriel, I am also an avid reader, I love to cook, travel , listen to music (especially country music), sing, shop, eat out, watch the Indians, Cavs and Browns and be with friends and family.

It is my goal to make math fun, interesting, and enjoyable for my students in a safe, Christ-centered environment. I hope to prepare my students for high school by helping them to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.
