Students will write a variety of essays in 5th grade.
NARRATIVE: Narrative essay develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective techniques, descriptive details, and clear even sequences.
PERSUASIVE: Persuasive/opinion pieces on topics or texts support a point of view with detailed reasoning.
EXPOSITORY: Expository texts are written to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
BOOK REPORTS: There will be one book report per quarter. See all the book report tab for all the book report information.
