Hanover Pride is offering a $1000 scholarship which will be awarded to a Hanover resident that is graduating from high school this year. All students are encouraged to apply but must have the following requirements:
Must be a valid Hanover resident
A copy of current high school transcript
An acceptance letter from a 2 or 4 year college or a trade school
This completed scholarship application (either submit the online form or mail in your application)
Essay (attach to application)

We are trying something new this year and the students can submit their application online through Hanover Pride 2026 Scholarship Application They can still mail in their application if they prefer.
Application and all supporting documents must be submitted by 05/01/2026

Outreach and Scholarship committee of Professional Women in Construction Boston – an organization dedicated to support, advance, and connect women and promote diversity within the architecture, engineering, construction, trades, and related industries.
The scholarship opportunity (information also attached):
PWC's 6th Annual Scholarship for high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students, open to individuals of all genders
Eligible students should be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a career in architecture, engineering, construction, or related trades and fields, including trade school, community college, graduate degrees, etc.
Recipients will also display leadership and involvement in community service and extracurricular activities and demonstrate strong financial need.
Applicants must be based in New England (Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Rhode Island.)
Six (6) $6,500 scholarships will be awarded.
The deadline to apply is March 31st 2026.

Michael Ganshirt, President of W & H Dollars for Scholars. We are a local scholarship foundation serving Whitman and Hanson students who will be continuing on to college. We award scholarships to both public and private school students who have a 2.5 or higher GPA. Last year, we awarded over $186,000 to 132 recipients.
We are currently accepting online applications for our 2026 awards now through Midnight on Sunday, March 15, 2026. I have attached a notice which will been placed in the local newspaper and on Facebook pages.
