South Summit High School Chapter
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character—the four pillars of NHS.
At South Summit High School, we are proud to continue this tradition of excellence by fostering a community of student leaders committed to making a difference both in and out of the classroom.
✨ Our Mission
The mission of the NHS is to support academic achievement while developing leadership skills and promoting service to the school and greater community. Through meaningful service projects, chapter meetings, and leadership opportunities, NHS members grow as scholars and citizens.
📅 Meetings & Events
Regular chapter meetings are held monthly to plan events, discuss service opportunities, and promote leadership. Participation in chapter meetings is a key component of active membership. Members are expected to attend 2 meetings per semester.
