A service learning project by S4-05 seeking to raise awareness about the dangers of irresponsible animal adoption, as well as educate the SST community about how pets can be cared for in a responsible manner.
A service learning project by S4-07 aiming to raise funds for Cat Welfare Society, as well as raise awareness on the mistreatment and abuse of cats. This is so that cats have a safe and caring society to live in.
A student-initiated project seeking to encourage children to expand their studies into the world of debate, providing opportunities to allow children to consider different perspectives and express confidence. A learning camp was organised to provide such opportunities for the children, sparking their interest in debate and creating future-ready leaders.

Many youths are facing the growing challenge of finding a job in their chosen industry, with a chicken-and-egg problem of needing adequate experience to achieve the job title but not being given the experience by willing employers; how will the next generation survive? This youth group have discussed with many experts in the field, like the Ministry of Education, and has thus proposed a few possible ways of dealing with this significant worry: Developing an education roadmap for all to follow to gain more work experience, connecting these youths to overseas networks and increasing accessibility to opportunities in Southeast Asia.

A service learning project by S4-08 aiming to serve and support underprivileged primary school children. The class organised a book donation drive in SST to collect textbooks and story books, then donated them to the beneficiaries from six primary schools.
A service learning project initiated by ACE leaders to interact and spend time with the elderly living in Fei Yue. They organised a fun-filled carnival full of engaging activities, actively combating the issue of social isolation among the elderly in Singapore.
A service learning project initiated by the Guitar Ensemble to interact and perform for the elderly living at Margaret Drive. They performed wonderful pieces of music, spreading joy and creating meaningful bonds with the elderly.
A training programme for Junior ACE Leaders to learn the ropes of what it takes to be an ACE Leader before promotion next year, the programme allowed ACE Leaders to interact with Elderly Residents in Redhill and simultaneously develop their skills.
Interactions is a success again! This year ACE leaders got to interact with residents in Lengkok Bahru, and were able to plan out some simple yet fun games for all to play, along with a sweet dance segment!
Continuing the effort from prior Interactions@HENDERSONS sessions, 2023 was another successful year for the ACE interactions team as they could organize two sessions to interact with the elderly again! Some activities included a scam talk and gardening activities.
Talks from the youth group GreenHacks on the topic of recycling in Singapore have highlighted several issues with recycling, emphasising the fact that Semakau Landfill is rapidly filling up and the problems of contamination we face in recycling efforts. However, they have also introduced hope into recycling through their proposed product labelling scheme, segregated recycling bins and community engagement to effectively solve this issue, citing examples in the community where aspects of these work!
Students from SST Inc EXCO at the #GGWR: Sustainability Unpacked event. Here, the students get a chance to observe the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu and other distinguished guests engaged in discussions and exchange of ideas. After the forum, the students had a tour of the Razer facilities to understand the sustainability effort taken by Razer.
SST Students were able to gain the opportunity to make some of their compost and sustain life, succeeding with compost thriving with life at the end of the program!
Hosted by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, students from our Singapore Youth Flying Club participated actively in this challenge and came up with designs that won the Design marvel Award in the Hull category! Along with that SST also won the Sustainable Quiz
An SSTore initiative, 2022 saw them introduce Seastainable, where items relating to the theme of World Ocean Day were sold to spread awareness about the negative effects of single-use plastic on marine wildlife
A service-learning project by S4-04 aimed to clean up Singapore's beaches and raise awareness about the detrimental effects of waste on the environment. The class successfully collected a total of 7.2 kg of trash.
A service learning project by S4-06 aiming to raise awareness on the pollution of beaches and the sea. The students also engaged in a clean-up of Changi Beach.
Whoever said that money doesn’t buy you happiness did not have enough of it. That is the situation most lower-income households in Singapore face, despite not being willing to receive outside help, and that is what the team at Life Hacks aims to solve! They have created an application called FLEX (Financial Literacy Excellence), which aims to help guide individuals, including those from middle-income households/students, to better manage their finances. These do not dictate how you should spend your money, but rather give you recommendations on how you should budget wisely

Hosted by Hao Ren Hao Shi and accompanied by Hao Ren Hao Shi volunteers. Secondary 3 students help out at the Mobile Grocery Truck, giving out free groceries and necessities to people from low-income families to help support them through tough times.
Starting at the beginning of the year, each S3 class volunteered at the mobile charity monthly to provide food to the residents of Bukit Merah. We thank Hao Ren Hao Shi for this amazing opportunity to provide necessities to residents there!
A service learning project by S4-04 seeking to educate the SST community on food waste and food insecurity in Singapore. In collaboration with Food From The Heart, Singapore, they conducted a food drive whereby donated food items were distributed to the beneficiaries of the charity organisation.
A service learning project led by ACE leaders in collaboration with the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS). The ACE leaders appealed to the SST student population to participate in Relay for Life, a race that aims to raise funds for cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, cancer rehabilitation, cancer screenings, research, public education and cancer support group initiatives.
In continuation, ACE Leaders organised a games carnival to promote awareness of cancer! In addition, they also packed life packs in collaboration with the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS).
A service learning project led by ACE leaders in collaboration with the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS). The ACE leaders carried out an advocacy campaign to rally for members of the SST population to design outreach posters to promote the virtual event “Singtel - Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer (RAC).” RAC aims to raise funds for cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, cancer rehabilitation, hospice care, free cancer screenings and public education initiatives.
As part of the RHD celebrations, Sec 3 students presented on their SS performance task (RHD projects) during recess for all levels yesterday and today. Students had an engaging time sharing the importance of racial and religious harmony with their schoolmates, and discussing what they can do to foster it.
6 groups of SST students had their SS Performance Task products on Racial and Religious harmony chosen to showcase at the launch of the Harmony Fest organised by Harmony Circle and MCCY. Minister Edwin Tong also visited the booths to try out the projects by our students!
