It is my honor to welcome you to our fifth annual Many Families One Community Family Resource Fair. Sulphur Springs Union School District is honored to be partnering with William S. Hart Union High School District to bring this wonderful event to our families. Both Districts support the importance of making sure that our families are provided resources to further assist them with enhancing their child’s learning, both academically and socially. We are committed to ensuring that your child has an opportunity to be successful so that they can achieve their fullest potential.
Sulphur Springs and William S. Hart Union High School Districts both want to thank the community partners that have worked to bring this wonderful event to our families. We look forward to sharing a wealth of resources, and we hope that you will enjoy the three-day Family Resource Fair.
We appreciate the dedication and hard work that the Sulphur Springs Union School District's Student and Family Wellness Collaborative have done to prepare for this virtual Family Resource Fair. I want to also express my appreciation to our staff in both school Districts and our community partners in the Santa Clarita Valley that have come to share their valuable information to further strengthen the bond between our homes and schools.

Es un honor para mí darles la bienvenida a nuestra quinta Feria Anual de Recursos para Familias de Muchas Familias, Una Comunidad. El Distrito Escolar de Sulphur Springs Union tiene el honor de colaborar con el Distrito Escolar de Preparatorias William S. Hart Union para traer este maravilloso evento a nuestras familias. Ambos distritos apoyan la importancia de asegurarnos de que nuestras familias reciban recursos para ayudarlos aún más a mejorar el aprendizaje de sus hijos, tanto académica como socialmente. On behalf of the Hart District Governing Board, I’d like to welcome everyone to the Many Families One Community Family Resource Virtual Fair. I’m thrilled that we can continue this wonderful community tradition – even in the midst of the challenges presented to us by the COVID pandemic. In many ways, the pandemic highlights the essential need for our community to share critical resources and support during this time of exceptional need.
Through this Virtual Fair, we hope to connect our families with community resources available through the school districts, the City of Santa Clarita, the College of the Canyons, community agencies, and the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department.
I’d like to share a special thanks to Dr. Kawaguchi, whose vision and drive has made this ambitious idea a positive reality. Along with our partners in the Sulphur Springs Union School District, I appreciate all the hard work of our planning administrators, including Golden Valley Principal Mr. Sal Frias, Canyon High School Principal Shellie Holcombe, La Mesa Principal Michele Krantz and Sierra Vista Principal Dr. Carolyn Hoffman.
We are indeed many families – and yet ONE COMMUNITY in the Santa Clarita Valley. We hope that the connections you make at this virtual fair will support and enrich your family in the days ahead.
A nombre de la Mesa Directiva del Distrito de Hart, me gustaría darles la bienvenida a todos a la Feria Virtual de Recursos para Familias de Muchas Familias, Una Comunidad. Estoy entusiasmado de que podamos continuar con esta maravillosa tradición comunitaria, incluso en medio de los desafíos que nos presenta la pandemia del COVID. En muchas maneras, la pandemia destaca la necesidad esencial de nuestra comunidad para compartir recursos y apoyo críticos durante este tiempo de necesidad excepcional.
A través de esta feria virtual, esperamos poder conectar a nuestras familias con los recursos comunitarios disponibles a través de los distritos escolares, la Ciudad de Santa Clarita, el Colegio de los Cañones, las agencias comunitarias y el Departamento del Sheriff del Valle de Santa Clarita.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Sulphur Springs Union School District, I would like to invite you to the “Many Families One Community Family Resource Fair." This event has been so successful that we are celebrating our fifth year of providing this valuable resource to the community. The event will be virtual, via zoom, this year. You will be able to learn about the many resources available from the comfort and safety of your own home.
The Sulphur Springs Union School District, the William S. Hart Union School District, and the Sulphur Springs Collaborative partnered together to bring this year’s event. Thank you to the Superintendents and staff of the districts, volunteers and the members of the collaborative for bringing these resources together for the community. They have been working hard over the past year organizing to make this event successful.
Since the event is virtual, there will be many presentations spread over three days. Please take the opportunity to attend the presentations that provide vital information on children’s education and family wellbeing.

A nombre de la Mesa Directiva del Distrito Escolar de Sulphur Springs Union, me gustaría invitarlos a la “Feria de Recursos para Familias de Muchas Familias, Una Comunidad.” Este evento ha sido tan exitoso que ya estamos celebrando nuestro quinto año de brindar este valioso recurso a la comunidad. Este año el evento será virtual, a través de zoom. Podrán aprender sobre los muchos recursos disponibles desde la comodidad y seguridad de su propio hogar.
El Distrito Escolar de Sulphur Springs Union, el Distrito Escolar de Preparatorias William S. Hart Union y la Colaborativa de Sulphur Springs se han asociado para llevar a cabo el evento de este año. Gracias a los superintendentes y al personal de los distritos, a los voluntarios y a los miembros de la colaborativa por reunir estos recursos para la comunidad. On behalf of the William S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board, I would like to welcome you to the “Many Families, One Community” Family Resource Virtual Fair.
The Family Resource Virtual Fair is designed to make families aware of the resources available to them through the school districts and other community organizations. Resources to benefit students and families, including academic, social and emotional support, will be available. Given the current health pandemic and the related economic implications for many families, this event is more important than ever to support our families. The Hart District is therefore pleased to partner with the Sulphur Springs District to present this much needed and timely event.
The Hart District Governing Board would like to thank our colleagues at Golden Valley and Canyon High Schools, and at La Mesa and Sierra Vista Jr. High Schools, for their continued hard work in attending to the needs of their students and the communities they live in. We also appreciate the work of the Sulphur Springs Union School District and the many community organizations who support our youth and who serve the citizens of the Santa Clarita Valley.
