About Me

Meet Ms. Morales

My name is Ms. Morales and I will be your third grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This will be my first year at St. Stephen School and I am eager to begin! I live in Joppa and love to craft and read. In college, I played soccer and lacrosse and still love to run and play all different sports. I enjoy spending time with family, going on camping trips, and exploring new places.

Education and Experience

Growing up I went to St. Michael's for K-8 and I graduated from The Catholic High School of Baltimore in 2019. I received my bachelor's in Liberal Arts with a focus in education from Notre Dame of Maryland University in December 2022. I am currently pursuing my master's in elementary education, also through Notre Dame of Maryland University. I student taught/long term subbed in the fourth grade in Baltimore County Public Schools and I have also worked at Celebree School in their School Age program, being a lead teacher, since 2019.

Philosophy

I believe each child should be able to learn and be successful in their academic environment. No matter the child’s background, past, or abilities, opportunities in the classroom should be provided to help all children succeed in their scholastic and personal endeavors. I will foster a positive classroom that is respectful to all people and will reflect the diverse ways students learn and develop. I will also maintain a classroom that supports students to become critical thinkers, academic and social problem solvers, and 21st century learners.

My goal is to not only to create scholars but committed followers of Jesus. I will create an environment that nurtures a student’s love with God and expression of faith. My goal is to share my commitment to the church with my students so we can all grow in the Roman Catholic tradition, both together as a class family and a school community.
