*****Students still need their first novel for class tomorrow.
Even while using bags to transport materials, we are still finding that around 7 students are still forgetting to bring their items to class. It is written on the board in their homerooms, Mrs. Allen is giving reminders, and they have had a check list from the beginning of the year(which should be glued into the back of their planner) from me. If your child received a homework infraction today, please have a conversation with him or her to make sure that he or she knows that in order to succeed, one must be responsible with their materials.

***Please check supply cases. Some children are forgetting supplies for class. Note cards are often forgotten. It is the expectation of Mrs. Allen and myself that students are responsible for their supplies and belongings. We give multiple reminders each day. We are no longer allowing students to go back and forth for forgotten class materials. (My ELA class should check their list of supplies daily before coming to class). They will no longer be allowed to come to my classroom at the end of the day to retrieve forgotten materials as they are interupting my fifth grade class when they do so. Thank you in advance for partnering with us so that students may learn to be more responsible.
10/13/25 Study for grammar test tomorrow. Read Chapter 15 in novel. Students are bringing their textbook, copy book, and grammar workbook home night to use to study.
