Readers should compulsorily enter their name, class, in-time and signature while entering and out-time while going out in the Gate Register.
Borrower’s Cards are not transferable.
If the books are not returned within the due date, a fine of Rs.5/- per day will be charged for the default.
The fine amount collection slip will be collected from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on working days.
At the time of deposition of late fine the user must collect fine slip and pay to the Accounts Dept. and they will give the receipt for the payment and the same receipt is submitted to the Library.
Duplicate Borrower’s Ticket will be issued on payment of a fee of Rs.50/- each
Readers are required to deposit their bags, belongings at the property counter before enter into the Library.
Underlining, scribbling and tearing of pages or any other type of mutilation of books is strictly prohibited and will be severely dealt with.
Use of mobile phones in the Library is strictly prohibited.
Necessary action will be taken by the Librarian against the users who are found to be misusing the service, facilities of Library collections etc.
After use readers are requested not to replace the books on the racks. It will be done by the library staff.
No outside / personal books or after issuing the books are not allowed inside the library for reading purposes.
The Librarian may recall any book any time if required.
Silence should be maintained in the Library areas. Conversations, loud talking and discussions must be avoided within the Library.
If a book is lost the Librarian has the power to decide whether the book has to be replaced or a fine is to be paid by the borrower. The fine could be up to two (2) times the book current value.
Own books or issued books are not allowed inside the library during college hours.
Post Graduate students should submit their Soft Copy of Dissertation in the form of CD compulsorily before collecting from the Library “NO DUE CERTIFICATE”.
Users will only read the newspapers on the newspaper reading stand.
Students should not disturb the arrangements of the library furniture.
Outsiders are not allowed in the library without the permission of the authority concerned.
All final year students should return their Library Borrower’s Card and library book based on library circular and obtain “NO DUE CERTIFICATE” from the library for getting Hall ticket.
Similarly, the staff members who intend to leave the college should settle all the dues and obtain “NO DUE CERTIFICATE” from the library preferably a week before.
The students have to refer the Library Notice Board for the Instructions / Notification etc.
