Many thanks to everyone that participated in Polar Express Day.  I really appreciate your help.

Our Santa letters were mailed today, thank you for having them in on time. A treat was left in the shoes you sent in from St. Nick. Their shoes are being returned to your home via their backpack. Everyone looked adorable wearing their Christmas attire!

The donations of onesies was overwhelming. They will be on their way to the NICU at CHOP

Week of December 1.

Polar Express Day pajama donation for the NICU at CHOP

We are asking for the following donation.

The pajamas for preemies are their greatest need, followed by pajamas for newborns.

The children may dress down Christmas and accessorize .They are NOT to wear pajamas this year. 

Polar Express Day is December 5th.

*Letters to Santa. A wish list is arriving home in their folders with directions attached. These letters are due on/by Friday in an envelope with the address provided on the form we sent.

**Send in a shoe labeled with your child's name tomorrow. Later in the week we will be leaving them outside of our room for St. Nick

*No math is assigned this week.

*Reindeer  color/rhyming page-due on Thursday (being sent in the folder)

*Sharing bags for the Letter "I" boys are due Wednesday, girls are due Thursday.  The clues are to be in their own handwriting. Many of you have already started doing this.

Lastly, our Student Council is involved with the Good Saint Anne project running from 12/2-12/16

Kindergarten has been assigned Chapstick. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Week of 11/17/2025

We have started checking the children on their birthday, address and phone number.

Student Council is collecting boxes of cereal bars as part of a holiday donation. These boxes are due on Monday 11/24

*Invention paper. I taped these papers in their folders this morning. The children are to read the problem, draw their invention to solve the problem and lastly give it a name. This is due tomorrow. I cant wait to see what they come up with.

*Simple Solutions pp 41-43 due on Thursday.

*The  children will be required to know their birthday, address and phone number in the upcoming weeks. One of your phone numbers is all they need to know.

*Coats are needed for outdoor recess.

*Cut-paste and spell a sight word paper is due tomorrow.

*Simple Solutions pp 37-40 due on Thursday.

*Add the following sight words to your bundle and continue to practice daily:  see-she-look

*Autumn cut-past-write due Thursday.

**PICTURE DAY AND HALLOWEEN PARADE

Our Halloween Parade is scheduled at 1:00 on the 29th. On this day send your child to school in their gym uniform. We will help them put their costumes on over their uniform . Label all parts!  Kindly refrain from using face paint or weapons as it is not permitted.

The parade takes place on the outdoor playground. Only the parents helping with the party will accompany us back to our room.

**PICTURE DAY:  Please no gym clothes. The children are to wear their regular school uniform
