Hello! My name is Mrs. Yencha and I am so excited to teach 3rd grade for the third year at Saints Peter and Paul! 

I am from Malvern, PA and attended St. Patrick School for elementary school, then attended Villa Maria Academy for high school. I graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Early Grades Education (PK-4) and minors in Mathematics Education (PK-8) and Literacy. 

What first drew me to teaching was the desire to make an impact in the lives of individuals at a young age. Every child has great gifts and great potential. In order to tap into those things, a child needs someone who believes in them and challenges them in healthy ways. Third grade is an important year for students as they begin to take on more responsibilities and develop beliefs about themselves as learners. I look forward to an incredible year of learning and growing together and I am especially excited for the breakthrough moments that await, the moments when students realize they are capable of far more than they ever thought!
