Dear 2025 Prk-3 Parents,
Welcome to Saints Peter & Paul School! I am Mrs. Mullen and I am honored to be your child's teacher! My goal is to instill a love of learning in a positive, happy, environment.

Here are just a few important notes for you in the meantime:
Our Pre-K3 classroom school day begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 2:45 PM. The preschoolers arrive with the gradeschoolers in drop off car line. Please make sure your child is unbuckled, has all their belongings and is ready to get out of the car. The drop off line does move quickly like a well oiled machine :-)
All preschoolers are picked up via carline at the whole school's dismissal. The preschool dismissal car line is seperate from the rest of the school's. It is the long drive way that runs along the side of the church. You will be given a green name tag with your childs name on it. This will be hung in your car so we will have your child ready as you approach.
There is after school CARES available to you. Please contact Ms. Kates for more information akates@sspeterandpaulrc.org
Our first day of school is September 2, 2025
All children will need a small snack and spill proof water bottle. Full day students also need a lunch . Please pack snack seperate from lunch so it is easy to get to. Snack should not require refrigeration (so no dairy, or fruit). Write name on snack. Note our classroom is NUT FREE. Thank you!
Children should dress in the school’s gym uniform everyday and wear velcro sneakers. Shorts, t-shirt, sweat pants, long sleeve shirt and sweatshirt (dependent on weather). We will have special dress up days throughout the year where your child will be able to wear their favorite or special outfits. The uniform is available at Flynn O’Hara.
Please have your child bring a backpack big enough to hold their Green Folder (you will receive this at the Parent Meeting), their lunch box and blanket. Please LABEL EVERYTHING (black Sharpies work great) you bring in so we can make sure all items go home with the right student.
I will need two parents to be Homeroom Parents to help with all our special events throughout the year. If you are interested please email me or let me know. You must have all clearances and complete the class. Details are on the school website.
Please note all volunteers and parents are asked to have ALL CLEARANCES on file in the school office. There is a class that needs to be taken. Details can be found on the SSPP school website.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
For Pick up - please have your child's Green name card hanging from a pant hanger on the rear view mirror for best visibility.
Your child should wear their SSPP winter uniform - short sleeve t-shirt, green sweatpants, and sneakers. As the seasons change, please dress your child for the weather (sweatshirts, jackets, hats, mittens, sweatpants in colder temps, shorts in warmer).
Have your child wear their backpack each day with the following items INSIDE:
Green folder (please empty daily)
Lunchbox
Water bottle
Snack (in front or side pocket of the backpack, if possible, otherwise in a separate labeled container or bag) Please no items that require refridgeration.
SMALL blanket for nap. This blanket will stay at school with their sleep mat. I will send the blanket home to be washed periodically. (The school provides the sleep mat).
PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING! THANK YOU!
