Dr. M. Vasudevan

Dr. M. Vasudevan,

Associate Director, IGCAR

Dr. M. Vasudevan is Scientific Officer ‘H’ and currently holding position as Head, Materials Development and Technology Division, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam. He is also a Professor at Homi Bhaba National Institute, Department of Atomic Energy. His research areas of interest include Metallurgy, Welding, modeling and Simulation, residual stresses, Creep and Mechanical Behaviour of structural materials.

Dr. Swee Leong Sing

Dr. Swee Leong Sing,

National University of Singapore

Dr. Swee Leong Sing is an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at NUS, Singapore. His research interest lies in using advanced manufacturing techniques as enablers for materials development and to create strategic values for the industry. In 2020, Dr. Sing was awarded the prestigious NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship to carry out independent research.

Prof. Dr. G. Phanikumar

Prof. Dr. Gandham Phanikumar,

Prof. Phanikumar finished his Ph.D. from IISc Bangalore in 2002 and joined IIT Madras in 2005 after a brief stint in Germany and South Korea. His research interests lie in the areas of Phase field modelling of solidification, Solidification of undercooled melts, Thermal field and distortion analysis during welding, Laser based additive manufacturing and Integrated computational materials engineering.

Dr. Khalid Rafi

Dr. Khalid Rafi,

Senior Lead, Additive Manufacturing Program Development,

ASTM International - Singapore

Dr. Rafi completed his Ph.D. from IIT Madras. He then pursued his post doctoral research at University of Louisville and has close to 2000 citations to his name. He currently works at ASTM and provides consultancy services to several companies in Europe and USA.
