Mrs. Scherry's Expectations:

1. Be Present in Class!

School is in person - not online.

Unexcused absences will not receive full credit and some assignments will be marked as zeros.

Please review pages 13 - 16 of the student handbook and note that grading unexcused class work is at the teacher's discretion.

2. Cell Phone:

Student addiction to their cell phone is a very real problem.  To combat this interference, I will be collecting cell phones.  Students refusing to 'turn in' their cell phone must keep their cell phone put 100% away.  

Detentions will be issued to reinforce this expectation.

3. Integrity:  

Do your own work.  

Do not cheat yourself out of learning new and important material.  

Be honest with Mrs. Scherry and reach out for help early and often if you are confused or need assistance.

4. Self Advocate:  

You must reach out for help and provide information that allows Mrs. Scherry to help you move forward with less frustration.

5. Master the Standards

Students will be provided a variety of opportunities to learn, practice, and master the State standards.  

6.  Check-Ins

Check PowerSchool and Classroom often!  

When absent, check what was completed in your absence and work to keep up with the class.   If you arrive late or leave school early, swing by my classroom and pick up handouts.
