REMOTE LEARNING TOOL BOX This binder will stay at home with your online learner. Inside there will be various materiels and resources that we will use during our lessons. Throughout the year I will continue to add needed materials to this TOOL KIT to make sure your child is successful this school year!

ONLINE REMOTE STUDENTS: Please contact me via Class DoJo if your child will not be able to login on any particular day. Although we are working remotely from home, it is expected that your child login 5 days a week (Saturday & Sunday are ok). Attendance will be taken and reported just as in-person class.

IN PERSON STUDENTS: If your child is going to miss a day of school, please call the office at (440) 949-4238 and inform Mrs. Glass, the secretary. When your child returns to school, please send in a note that includes the date and reason for their absence.

In your orientation folder you received 3 ID cards. One card will go on your child's backpack and the other cards are for any adult that is picking your child up from school. Upon pick up, a teacher will match the numbers on your card to your child's and then release the child.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR CARD you will be asked to go to the office where Mrs. Glass will verify your idenity and release your student.

Car Riders will be dropped off and picked up at the back gym doors.

Specials include: music, art, gym, technology, and library. As a direct result of COVID-19 and our classes becoming half day, kindergarten will not have specials this school year.

Please Note: This information DOES NOT apply to other grade levels or remote only learners.

As the school year progresses, you will see number grades on your student's completed work. These grade will indicate your child's ability in that area.

If your child receives a... 4 - This means your child understand this concept and is completing their work independently. WAY TO GO!! 3 - This means your child is starting to grasp this concept with minimal teacher support. THEY ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!! 2 - This means that this is something your child is struggling with and needs a lot of teacher support to complete. 1 - This means that your child is not grasping this concept and further interventions may be needed to help him/her.

**THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO REMOTE LEARNERS** I will ALWAYS go out of my way to make your child's birthday a special and exciting day for them. Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-19, these celebrations will NOT allow any outside snacks from parents/guardians.
