This will be my 8th year teaching mathematics to intermediate school students. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2014 with a degree in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in math and science. I went on to earn my masters in instructional technology from Kent State University.
I have been married for 6 years and have been blessed with 3 amazing daughters (shown above). In my free time I love to be outside with my dogs and kids, go to the beach, read, and take walks around the zoo with my family. I love math and science and can often be brewing up cool hands-on experiments to do at home or in the classroom. My favorite color is blue, my favorite animals are otters and dogs, and my favorite book series are Harry Potter and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. In school my favorite subject was astronomy, because it was the first time I truly saw math become an engaging factor in a science setting.
