Hello! My name is Megan Meckes and I am the School Counselor at Brookside Intermediate School. I am so happy to be here and be a part of such a wonderful school and community! I look forward to meeting you and your student(s).I hope to help all students succeed both academically and interpersonally. 

I can meet with students individually in which students are referred by a parent, teacher, principal  or self referral to talk about things that impact their learning such as friendships, study skills, and self-esteem . I will also conduct small group counseling on different topics. Another way I will be able to reach out to students will be through classroom guidance lessons.  Some other opportunities that I will participate in could include RTI and IEP/504 meetings, parent/teacher conferences, and outside agency consultations.
