Lessons/Activities

All students will have an ICAP plan (Individual Career and Academic Plan). Student will be provided with login information and are invited to complete the individual lessons at their own pace.  These lessons focus on a variety of topics depending on age but help students understand their own interests and how their interests can support them being successful with their career and college aspirations. 

Our mission is to support the development of our student's leadership skills. With participation in this club, students will get an opportunity to impact the school's climate and culture in a positive and uplifting way. Students, along side the Leadership liason, will develop exciting and creative events to increase student engagement and cohesion. They become student ambassadors that  attend special events and important activities where student's voice and presence is needed.

RISE class is a new Encore class here at Steamboat Springs Middle School designed specifically to meet the needs of our 7th-grade students. In this class, we explicitly teach the three domains of school counseling: Executive Functioning, College/Career Readiness, and Social/Emotional Wellness. Arts and crafts are a way we bring the material to life in RISE.   For more information reach out to:
