The Hugh J. Boyd, Jr. Elementary School family of 236 diverse children, sits between the Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. In the fall of 2012, Seaside Heights School District collaborated with the Central Regional School District to create a cohesive K-12 educational program. Now, Hugh J. Boyd, Jr. Choice students have the opportunity to continue their learning experiences at Central Regional School District by building on the academic foundation and preparing for the future.

The school supports 21st century learning through the infusion of educational technology at all grade levels. Classroom learning will be enriched by the natural resources provided by the Barnegat Bay and Atlantic Ocean. These experiences will increase the science and technology curriculum.
