This is my 4th year at South City and I absolutely love teaching at this school. While we are not beginning the year off in person - and I am still having a hard time accepting that - I still think that we can build real, fun communities within our virtual classrooms. I know that the setup is different and that leaves us all feeling a little bit vulnerable, but if you join in my virtual classroom I'm betting that you'll feel more connected to others than you did before the school year began.

This year, I am teaching AP MacroEconomics, Economics and Ethnic Studies. I will be posting all materials, grading all materials, commenting on and returning all materials through Google Classroom. If I need to communicate with the student and/or family, or if you need to contact me, please use SchoolLoop. I will try and respond within the day, if not the hour (during school hours). In order to succeed in my class, and to graduate, you must know how to use and take advantage of these online resources.

Office Hours are times to check in with me individually about assignments and material. Have a question? Something doesn’t make sense? Stuck on a part of the material? Sign up for office hours during either Flex Time of my office hours on Wednesday!

I will have an online form where you can sign up for a day and time to meet with me individually. This form will be on the Google Classroom stream and linked through the class calendar. If those times do not work for you, email me and we will find a way to support you.
