Short Term: When all snow days have been exhausted in MS, on the third snow day for US except for AP classes

Long Term: At discretion of Head of School, Assistant Head of School, or division heads

Short Term: Log into Finalsite by 10:00 AM. Create a space to work

Long Term: Log into Finalsite/Seesaw by 8:10 AM. Available throughout the day. Must be available during scheduled class time.

Short Term: All posting done by 10:00 AM

Long Term: All posting done by 4:00 PM the day before. Each day should have a posting even if it's to indication students should continue working on previous day's assignments.

Short Term: No new material. Reinforcement of current lesson not to exceed 15 minutes in Middle and 30 minutes in Upper School.

Long Term: 2-3 lessons of new introduced material per week in Middle School, 3-4 lessons per week in Upper School. A "lesson" includes any material presented, follow up/practice of that material, and reinforcement exercises.

Long Term: MS/US - not to exceed the scheduled class time for the day.

Long Term: Make assessments low or no stakes. Get students used to just using the platform. Then you can do something higher stakes. Do not ask students to do a high stakes exam or assignment in the first week or two of virtual school.

Short Term: Feedback should be brief.

Long Term: MS/US - feedback needs to be given frequently. All assignments should have Finalsite comments for each student.

Long Term: Faculty/staff work day from 8 AM - 4:00 PM. MS/US - Teachers available during scheduled class time for immediate response to student questions related to work assigned.

Short Term: Establish a quiet place to log in and completed work.

Long Term: Establish a space and routine conducive to daily work completion.

Short Term: Extreme understanding give to students. Remain flexible and excuse assignments if necessary.

Long Term: Understanding must be given (extensions, extra help, retake opportunities) however, work must be completed. Families experiencing hardships should communicate to school.

Short Term: Shouldn't be necessary.

Long Term: MS/US - Should occur during normal scheduled class time. Not recommended for the first week of Virtual School.
