Mr. Bartosh
Welcome to U.S. History 7 with Mr. Bartosh!
Hi Everyone! I'm Zach Bartosh, this is my third year at Stewartville Middle School where I will be teaching 7th Grade U.S. History. I am originally from Windom, MN and I graduated from Minnesota State University - Mankato in 2018 with degrees in Social Studies Education and History and I am currently pursing a Master's Degree in American History through Gettysburg College.
Before I came to Stewartville Middle School I spent 3 years teaching High School Social Studies at Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton High School in Janesville, Minnesota. I also have coached middle school football and baseball at Stewartville and am currently an assistant coach for the Rochester Lourdes Boys Hockey Program. In my free time you can find me enjoying my favorite sports, reading about my favorite historical topics, or spending time outside hiking and exploring with my wife, Macy. Our most recent hiking adventures include Alaska, Zion National Park and the Rocky Mountains.
If you ever need to contact me the quickest and easiest way is through e-mail, however feel free to call me as well. Both are listed below.
I love being a part of the Stewartville Community and I look forward to getting to know my new students and the families this year, Go Tigers!

"History must share with reading, writing and arithmetic first rank as the most important subjects in the curriculum. Understanding the issues on which citizens of a republic are expected to vote is impossible without an understanding of the past."
– Walter Cronkite
“We should be dreaming. We grew up as kids having dreams, but now we’re too sophisticated as adults, as a nation. We stopped dreaming. We should always have dreams.”
– Herb Brooks
