Welcome to Bonner Elementary School located in Stewartville, Minnesota! 

Bonner is a kindergarten through second grade elementary school offering high quality education to approximately 450 students. Our classes have an average size of about 23 students per section and includes all-day, every-day kindergarten. Over 70 dedicated staff members help meet student needs in all academic areas, including music, art, physical education, gifted and talented classes, media services, early childhood, and special education. Bonner also has nursing and health-office services, a school counselor, and a social worker available for students and families in need of special services. We actively use a Positive Behavior Support System called R.O.A.R which stands for Respect Others, Act Responsibly. We have high expectations for learning and teaching, and believe our warm, nurturing learning environment makes Bonner Elementary a great place to be! 

Bonner is truly a rich community of learners, and it takes this entire community to ensure the learning success for all our children. Parents are encouraged to be partners in their child’s education, and communication is essential between home and school. I encourage you to stay in regular contact with your child’s teacher to ensure your child’s needs are being met. We genuinely welcome feedback, suggestions, and encourage parents and other stakeholders to be part of this learning process.
