Hello and thank you for visiting my page!
My name is Kim Severson and I am the district's Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher (DAPE). This is my second year at Stewartville Schools and I'm so excited to be a part of the district! Previously, I taught at Brownsdale/Hayfield Schools starting in 2012. I graduated from North Dakota State University in 2006 with a degree in Child Development and Sociology. I was also fortunate enough to play college volleyball for the Bison!! I went back to Winona State University for Physical Education, Health Education, and Developmental Adaptive Physical Education Degree where I graduated in 2012. I also helped coach volleyball at Winona State University. I grew up and graduated from Stewartville High School in 2001. My husband and I both have large families, and we are lucky enough to be living close to them.
I enjoy the outdoors and being active! I love to DIY furniture and attempt to be crafty! I enjoy volleyball, golf, fishing, baking, and much more. I love spending as much time as I can with my kids, our families, and friends.
My husband Jon and I live in Racine with our kids, Beckett and Kenley, and our dog Maggie.
My daily schedule is determined by the services documented in my students' Individual Education Programs (IEP's) throughout the district.
