Mrs. Meinecke
My name is Sue Meinecke, I grew up near the small town of Guttenberg, IA in northeast Iowa. My husband and I have two children, Aidan (13) and Sophie (11). I feel like any day I can spend with my family outdoors is a pretty good day!
This is my second year teaching in the Stewartville School District, I do have over twenty years of experience working with students. I double majored in math education and physical education at William Penn University while playing basketball and softball at the collegiate level. I went on to earn my masters degree in Physical Education/Sport Psychology from Northern Illinois University. My favorite aspect of teaching is getting to know my students! I always work towards building a relationship that results in students realizing I do want the best for them as they build character and academic skills. In addition to 6th and 7th grade math, I also teach one class of Honors Geometry in the high school.
