Ms. O'Neil

My name is Carly O'Neil and I am thrilled to be part of the Stewartville School Counseling Team! I have worked with students from 3rd through 8th grade but my heart is at the middle school level!

I grew up in Saint Paul, MN then headed north to pursue my psychology degree at Bemidji State University before getting my masters in Counseling & Student Affairs from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Prior to working at SMS, I was a Residential Counselor at Circle of Nations Wahpeton Indian Boarding School in Wahpeton, ND and have spent the last 4 years as a School Counselor in Worthington, MN. 

I live in Rochester with my husband, Matt, and our two cats, Joey & Chandler. Outside of the school day I enjoy playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, and taking weekend road trips to new places. I have spent the summer getting to know the surrounding area and am now so excited for school to start!
