Practice is an important part of band!
Here are some hints to doing it well:
- Create a routine practice time and place-Make it a habit
- Practice for 10-15 minutes at least 5 days a week
- Practice what you do not know or parts that challenge you
- Set goals for your practice section (Example: I want to learn my F scale today or I want to learn lesson 4 today).
- Make practice fun! Spend some time trying to play something you like or check out one of Dr. Selfridge's great videos.
- Share what your practiced with your family!
