**If your child's preference is filled, PLEASE register them for something else and fill out the wait list. This is the only way we can attempt to get them into the club of their choice. Thank you!**

Forms will be available starting on Thursday, December 16th at 7:00 pm.

After that date/time, please click on the link below to sign your student up for one of the club offerings.

***A NEW CLUB (S.T.E.M.) HAS BEEN ADDED ON THURSDAY NIGHTS***

PLEASE NOTE: Students may ONLY be signed up for one session of one club PER SCHOOL YEAR (NOT PER SESSION) to give every child an opportunity to participate in the activities. IF YOU SIGN UP FOR MULTIPLE CLUBS, YOUR CHILD WILL BE UNREGISTERED FROM ALL BUT THE INITIALLY-REGISTERED CLUB.

Times and selections vary (if a club begins at 3:30 pm, the students will be escorted to the appropriate room or for pick-up in the library). Students in the YMCA program will be escorted to and picked up from the club.

Arts & Crafts: Is your child crafty? If scissors and glue are their thing, then this is the club for them! This 4-week club provides plenty of time for students to create their own works of art. The location for this club will be in the kindergarten bump-out with Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Petruzzi. We will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 p.m. 18 seats are available per session.

Creepy Critters: Do you love creepy-crawlies? Want to learn more about them? This club is calling all beginning entomologists to learn about insects, butterflies, and spiders, make crafts of critters, and explore real bugs. The location for this club will be in Room M-10 with Miss Connor and Mrs. Dresner. We will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 15 seats are available per session.

Dancing Cougars: A pep club for our Kindergarten and First Grade. Students will get everyone cheering for Springfield! We will meet every week after school to learn the routine. Practices will be held at the SLC or ETR Field and will be facilitated by Miss Matyszczak and Miss Wheaton. There will be a final show TAPED for parents to watch (if we are able to offer a live performance at that time, we will change the format). After club sessions, we will dismiss by car line at 4:15 and 5:15 from the SLC patio. There will be a fee of $25 to cover the cost of the matching t-shirts and pom-poms for the squad (you will get a payment slip after registration). 30 kindergarten seats and 30 first grade seats will be available. Please send your child to school in sneakers on their practice day(s).

Glamour & Glitz: Sparkle and shine! Come learn how to make beauty and spa products including skincare items, lotions, and jewelry. Each week we will make D.I.Y. formula or creation to bring home and try out or wear. This 4-week club will be facilitated by Miss Cipolloni and will meet in room M-14. This club will dismiss the children to the car line on the SLC porch at 4:30 pm. 8 seats are available per session.

Goo, Ooze & Slime: Come get messy and learn how to make different concoctions to play with. Each week we will make a different type of goo, ooze, or slime. The location for this club is in the kindergarten bump-out area with Mrs. Reilly and Mrs. Heverly. We will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 16 seats are available per session.

Legos (Thursdays): This 4-week afternoon club offers opportunities to work on Lego building, spatial skills, and patterns within a collaborative group. This afternoon club will be facilitated by Mrs. Rosini and Miss Connor. We will meet in room M-10. We will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 25 seats are available per session.

Legos (Mondays): This 4-week afternoon club offers opportunities to work on Lego building, spatial skills, and patterns within a collaborative group. This afternoon club will be facilitated by Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Santivasci. We will meet in the kindergarten bump-out area. We will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 25 seats are available per session.

Session 2: Mondays: 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10 3:30-4:30 pm

Science: Exploding volcanos, homemade slime…the same things that inspired you as a child could light a fire to get your child interested in science. They will have the opportunity to conduct an age-appropriate science experiment every week. This 4-week afternoon club will be facilitated by Mrs. Reilly and Mrs. Jeffers. We will meet in Room M-11 and will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 16 seats are available per session.

S.T.E.M.: S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is the future for our students! Students will explore and use their problem solving skills to solve, create, and assemble their own S.T.E.M. projects including Legos, robotics, building, and more. They will have the opportunity to conduct an age-appropriate S.T.E.M. project every week. This 4-week afternoon club will be facilitated by Mr. Dender. We will meet in the Kindergarten bump-out and will dismiss by car line at the SLC patio at 4:30 pm. 12 seats are available each session.

Yoga: Yoga club is so much fun, but also filled with building important tools that our students can carry with them including increased body awareness, strength and flexibility, and self-calming/emotional regulation skills. Students will learn breathing and relaxation techniques. This 4-week club will be facilitated by Miss Matyszczak and Miss O’Connell and meet in Room M-13. Children will be dismissed on the front porch in a car line at 4:30 p.m. 15 seats are available per session.
