My name is Mr. Matthew Stewart. This is my thirteenth year at E.T Richardson Middle School and my third year teaching the Challenge Program. I am a graduate of Monsignor Bonner, West Chester University (undergraduate), and Cabrini College (graduate). I am also the head coach of the SHS 9th grade girls' basketball team.

The overall goal of the Challenge (gifted) program is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in inquiry and project based activities which are made up of modular units. Students will have some choice as to which Mod they want to work on throughout the year. The thrust of these sessions will be to expand upon a student’s ability to reason, make arguments and extend their learning into relevant, real-world situations, and engage in individual and group project-based activities.
