PRE-CALCULUS

Welcome to Pre-Calculus. I’m looking forward to working with you this year. We will use the University of Chicago’s textbook “Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry” and the Big Ideas Math textbook. Our goal for the year is for everyone to come away with a solid grasp of algebraic and trigonometric concepts and to be prepared for calculus. You should be accomplished in dealing with variables, equations and graphs. You will also be dealing with matrices, parabolas, functions, exponents, logarithms, trigonometry and much more.

Welcome to Algebra 1. Over the 2019-2020 school year, my goal is for the students to learn new mathematical knowledge, skills, and gain a greater appreciation for math as a way of thinking and problem solving.
