Augmentative Communication Facilitator
Laura Hayes is an augmentative communication facilitator for Special School District with over ten years of augmentative communication experience.
She provides support to staff and students across four districts in the county. Laura has presented locally and at state, national, and international conferences such as the Missouri Speech-Hearing Association, ATIA, AAC in the Cloud, and the Pediatric Perspectives Conference. She has involvement in both inpatient pediatric and educational augmentative communication research. She loves providing staff training, implementation resources, and guided direction to help with student success using AAC.
