What does a school social worker do?
What does a school social worker do?
As a school social worker, Mrs. Hernandez-Caudron supports all the students at SHS. She works with students and staff to help make the school safe and inviting. Mrs. Hernandez-Caudron provides services to students with IEPs and also provides support for students experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other related issues. In addition, Mrs. Hernandez-Caudron can help students and families with community resources.

Our counselor, Mrs. Bialecki, creates academic schedules for students and helps them prepare for college and careers. She also helps Juniors and Seniors with Career & Technical Education Programs and Concurrent Enrollment classes at Arapahoe Community College (ACC) so they can begin earning college credits while still in high school. Mrs. Bialecki also supports students with social / emotional needs.
