Empowerment of Women

St. Scholastica’s College, Manila is a women’s college that is committed to proactively help the poor and the marginalized of society which includes women and children. The

empowerment of women as advocates of societal change is a mark of Scholastican Education.

Social Justice and Peace

The school advocacy on peace education and related initiatives is intended to help establish the culture of peace through relevant peace education initiatives and programs.

Poverty Alleviation

Part of its mission and vision and in the context of a socially-oriented school, St.Scholastica’s College, Manila continues to include in its curricular, co-curricular and

extracurricular programs, activities and educational opportunities for the members of the school community to engage in outreach work and related community extension

activities.

Environmental Advocacy

Environmental awareness and “care for the environment” continue to be an advocacy of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila as the school responds to the worsening state of the

environment. Environmental awareness is concretized through the various curricular, cocurricular and extracurricular programs as such programs that support Stewardship, which is one of the Hallmarks of Benedictine Education.
