This website is the culminating project of my work for the Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching Research grant. It includes the rationale for how and why I designed these lessons, relevant articles and websites that supported my research, the Finnish Curriculum Goals and US/California science standards covered in the unit, preparation tips, a lesson summary and timeline, collaborating school information, and the lessons. I hope that this learning unit is impactful for our students and promotes empowerment in our youth.
