Meet Your Teacher-Librarian: Mrs. Love

Mrs. Love comes to the library with eight years of experience teaching English at Monte Vista High School and Dougherty Valley High School.  As an English teacher, she loved implementing choice reading and building her classroom library for her students.  Her successes with students encouraged her to enroll in the San Jose State program to earn a teaching credential in Library Information Science.  Mrs. Love loves reading, collaborating with other teachers, getting in a good workout, and spending time with her family.

In Memoriam: Mrs. Ringwood

Sept. 21, 1975 - Nov. 17, 2021

Mrs. Ringwood served as the Teacher-Librarian at SRVHS for 7 years. She was loved by all of her patrons and her dry wit, humor, and laugh will be dearly missed. Prior to her role as Teacher-Librarian, she was an English teacher at MVHS for 14 years.

Mrs. Ringwood was passionate about making cozy reading nooks for avid readers, adding diverse books to the collection that represented all of SRVHS’s student populations, and developing a maker space for aspiring creators. These passions will continue to guide library programming at SRVHS.

Mrs. Ringwood is survived by her husband, Ted, and two children, Paige (6) and Reed (3).
