Meet Mrs. Clausen

I am very excited to be a part of the Rancho Romero team for my twelfth year!  I am entering my twenty-first year of teaching in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.  Before becoming part of the Rancho team, I had the opportunity to teach at Golden View and Creekside.  I have taught Kindergarten, third grade, and fifth grade while in the district. 

I have been a part of SRVUSD community for over thirty years.  As a child, I went to Golden View Elementary when the school opened in 1989.  Next, I went to Los Cerros Middle School to then graduate from Monte Vista High School class of 1999.  Finally, I graduated from Chico State University with a BA in Child Development and a minor in Liberal Studies.

I currently live in Danville and have two children, Daniel and Emily with my wonderful husband, Tim.  When I am not teaching in the classroom, some of my favorite hobbies include cooking, photography, and interior design.

I look forward to another great year at Rancho Romero Elementary.
