Monte Vista Library and Media Center

Monte Vista's Library and Media Center is located upstairs in the state-of-the-art Workday Student Center (Building 100), just east of the Administration building.

We have books and other resources for both students and staff. It is also a study space, meeting room, and a place to build our Mustang community.

How do you like to read a book? A physical paper copy? Something easily portable on an ipad or phone? Or would you rather listen to a story? We've got you covered!

There are a number of ways to get books (physical, digital, and audio).

Library Catalog

You can view our school's library materials through this link. You can see what books we have and whether they are checked out. You can search by title or author.

Sora provides free digital books that can be read on a device. It also offers audiobooks.

Contra Costa Library

You can go to your local branch library to get physical books, place books on hold that you'd like to read but aren't currently in your branch library, and you can also get Libby, an app that allows you to read or listen to hundreds of books.

Looking for something to read? You'll need a Contra Costa County Library Card for this, but it's an incredible resource for all kinds of books:
