Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!

This community update will be your weekly source of communication from the school site and will be sent out weekly on Sunday nights via an email. All communications are available and searchable from the home page!

Annual Update

Please visit the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete your Annual Update by August 9, 2023. 

Additionally, we want to share important information on Available Language Programs and Language Acquisition Programs.


Read and Sign Student Handbook

All Parents must review the family handbook and complete the acknowledgement google form verifying you have read and understand after you August 8th at 4pm once you receive your student's schedule.


Review the Tardy Policy

All students are expected to be seated when the bell rings. Please review the school's tardy policy to be aware of our procedures.


Join Site Council

Submit names for nomination by August 14th to Mona Keeler mkeeler@srvusd.net for the voting on August 17th at Back to School Night.


Attendance Procedures

REPORTING AND CLEARING AN ABSENCE 

Being in class, on time and ready to learn is one of the most important keys to success in school. In the event that a student needs to be absent, a parent should call the attendance line before 9:00 AM at 925-790-2599. The call should be made each day the student is absent. Students are not allowed to call in their own absences. Please do not email in an absence and call the Attendance Line.

Mark your calendars to attend Back to School Night on August 17th from 6-8pm.

Student Schedules

Schedules will be posted online on the Infinite Campus portal starting August 8th at 4pm. Students should access the portal through ClassLink. Parents/Caregivers can use the IC portal link also linked on our school's home page header. If you have questions after schedules are released contact the office.

**Please note that the portal was inadvertently open for a brief period of time on July 25th. If you saw a schedule or class assignment, please disregard that information.

We would like to share information with you about public transportation options and programs at Iron Horse since we are not served by TRAFFIX.  Our routes are 622, 636 noted to the right.

Breakfast is served free of charge before school from 7:50-8:10am M,T, Th, F and from 9:09-9:29am on Wednesday. 

Lunch is also served daily.
