Fall 2025

Exhibit #28: Summer Art Show (9/8 - 10/3)

The Monte Vista Summer Art Show is the first exhibit held at Intersection Gallery the 2025-26 school year. The exhibit features work completed by MV students over the summer. The exhibit showcases a wide variety of visual art pieces including paintings, drawings, digital work, and photography. Because these pieces are non-assigned, they showcase the true creativity of the artists and display the skills they have learned inside and outside the classroom.

Exhibit #27: 2025 MVHS Annual Art Show (5/29)

Monte Vista's Annual Art Show, held throughout the 700 building. Features work from all visual art students.

Exhibit #26: The Built World (4/28 - 5/9)

First exhibit featuring work from nondepartemental classes: Engineering, Robotics, Architecture, and Rocketry. Students of these classes featured house models, robots from previous years, rockets, and more.

Exhibit #21: 3rd Annual CGA Show (1/22 - 2/12)

Typography and graphic created by CGA I and CGA II students in the third Annual CGA Show! Students showcase their knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop with typeface posters, logo lock-ups, and type design.

Fall 2024

Exhibit #20: 2nd Annual Photo Show (12/9 - 12/20)

Photo students display their classwork from the year in the second annual photo show!

Exhibit #19: Hand Made (11/11-11/22)

Charcoal drawings made by Art II students. Students practiced creating form and structure by drawing heads (with the Loomis method), hands, and stools. Using this knowledge, students created structure-focused drawing projects of various objects. 

Exhibit #18: Inktober Show (10/14 - 10/31)

Second annual Inktober exhibit! Instead of using the official prompt list, Monte Vista students collaborated to create the 2024 Monte Vista Inktober prompts. Using this prompt calendar, students created fabulously spooky “ink” drawings and photos. 

Exhibit #17: Summer Art Show (9/16 - 10/2)

Exhibit #7: Inktober (10/2 - 10/31)

Intersection Gallery's first interactive exhibit, creating Inktober drawings (based on prompts) one day at a time!

Spring 2023

Exhibit #6: 2023 MVHS Annual Art Show (5/24)

Annual art show throughout the 700 building, including the 700 gallery; work by every visual arts student is included.

Exhibit #5: Cepti (5/8 - 5/12)

First senior show! Rhonni Ebojo shares work from their entire high school career, including coursework at the California College of Art.

Exhibit #4: Tribute (3/20 - 3/15)

First tribute show, where artists exhibit Fan Art; personal interpretations of beloved characters. Open to all artists on campus.

Exhibit #2: Computer Graphic Arts Projects (2/15 - 3/15)

This exhibit displays work from both the Computer Graphic Arts 1 and 2 classes. These pieces are created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, showing the capabilities of digital art and graphic design.

Exhibit #1: Adv. & AP Projects (1/17 - 1/30)

An exhibit of fall semester artwork by Advanced and AP students focusing on the development of how materials and techniques elevate our ability to communicate visually.
