Important Financial Aid Updates
The FAFSA form remains open until June 30, 2020.
Any student or family who has not yet completed a FAFSA may still do so.
For those who have completed a FAFSA, and whose financial circumstances have changed considerably, we encourage you to reach out to your institution’s financial aid office. Financial aid administrators are afforded a degree of professional judgment under the law for state and federal aid, as well as for institutional aid, and can work with students and families whose incomes have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

General College Admission Information
Be sure to check your emails for updates from colleges!
Most admissions decisions are released by the end of March!
As we are in uncertain times, due the coronavirus concerns, updates occur daily and we encourage you all to continue to check your emails and college accounts/portals for the most up to date information from college admissions departments.
You will learn admissions decisions (admit/deny/waitlist) from most colleges by April 1, with their admissions decisions, and that could be via US mail or email or solely posted in your college portal.
Admitted? Pay particular attention to any instructions regarding what to do next. Check out their housing application procedure and due dates!
Know that you have until May 1 to decide which campus is right for you as that is the traditional Statement of Intent to Register date! (the date by which you need to accept one offer of admission and decline the others)
Wait Listed? Most colleges ask you to respond as to whether or not you wish to remain on a Wait List. Be sure you follow their instructions as they usually give you a due date and procedure to respond.
Be sure you accept an offer of admission from one school...you can be on as many waiting lists as you want. Typically colleges do not admit from wait lists until after May 1!
Denied? Can you appeal? Most colleges do not admit many students who appeal their decision, but if you feel you have more information to share that was NOT in your original application, reach out to the college to find out their appeal process and due dates. These vary greatly between colleges.
We recommend that you "virtually tour" campuses where you have been admitted (or wait listed) to learn if their college experience will match your preferences.
