STEP 1: ACTIVATE EXAM

DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 6, 2023

• Students must join their AP® Class on the MyAP site: https://myap.collegeboard.org (this is the SAME account students may have already set up for PSAT/SAT registration; do not create a new account). 

• Students will be given a code from their teacher, which links them to their course.

PRO TIP: Use a personal email account so CollegeBoard is accessible when/if you exit SRVUSD.

• Click on “Register for Exam.”

• The deadline to activate is OCTOBER 6, 2023

FEE STRUCTURE:

• If registering before or on 10/6/23, the cost is $135 per exam ($185 for AP Capstone).

• If registering after 10/6/23, a $50 late registration fee will be added to the exam(s) cost.

Fee Reduction Applications are available for students needing financial assistance.

CANCELLATIONS:

If you wish to cancel your AP Exam, Please follow the instruction below;

• Exams canceled prior to November 5, 2023, will receive a full refund minus APTS service fees.

• Exams canceled between November 6, 2023, and March 1, 2024, will receive a refund MINUS the $40 CollegeBoard cancellation penalty and APTS service fees.

Canceling an AP Exam is a two-step process:

1. Complete this form for each exam you want to cancel (new form for each exam)

2. Email cancel@aptsusa.com and include the student's name, the name of the school, and the title of the exam to cancel

 Once your request is granted, you will receive a confirmation email from your AP Coordinator.

College Board is extremely strict regarding qualifying for rescheduling an AP® exam to the Late Testing (make-up) window. In addition, the reason for requesting late testing must also meet the local school district regulations for excused absences. AP Exam 

In conjunction with College Board regulations, SRVUSD approved reasons to reschedule an exam include: 

• extreme illness (hospitalization or medical care, a doctor’s note will be required), 

• bereavement, 

• court appearance, 

• conflict with another AP® exam, or 

• a school-sponsored sport or academic event.

Additional fees may apply, and documentation may be required.

SRVUSD Students are NOT eligible for Late Testing for reasons such as: 

• family trips, 

• conflict with an in-class exam/activity, 

• failure to attend the exam, 

•  having selected the incorrect AP® exam subject when you submitted your order.
