"Exploring the Intersection of Visual Images and Words with Julie Garrahan"

This will be a workshop that guides you through concrete poetry (also called shape poetry). Concrete poems are objects composed of words, letters, colors, and typefaces, in which graphic space plays a central role in both design and meaning. We will delve into different techniques of the creation of a poem using computers and also using pencil and paper.
