Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

My name is Mr. James Fuccello and I am very honored to be the Saint Raphael's Physical Education teacher once again for the 2021-2022 school year. I am very excited to be returning and it is going to be a great year!

Here is a little bit about myself. I have been around Physical Education teachers since I was young. Both my father and aunt have been Physical Education teachers in the area for over 30 years. I have learned so much from them about how to make class a fair, fun, and safe learning environment. I am also a certified personal trainer and I have trained people of all ages at the Hamilton Area YMCA. I was a substitute teacher and assistant football coach at Notre Dame high school for several years and I coached youth basketball for the Hamilton Area YMCA. Make sure that you check our school website weekly, because we have our very own Saint Raphael School Sports Center Show!

I attended and graduated from Holy Angels Elementary School and Notre Dame High School. My main goal is to inspire the students to participate in healthful activity and to encourage them to be active at home as well as in class. In today's era of advanced technology, it is important that our students maintain an appropriate level of activity. I would like for the students to develop great teamwork, skills, and to continue to have respect, reverence, and responsibility. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
