Classroom Expectations
Ms. Belfiglio's Classroom Expectations:
Respectful: A respectful environment is key to successful learning. Disruptive or other behavior which disturbs the learning environment will not be tolerated.
Responsible: As Middle School Students, you will be held to a higher standard of organization. It is your responsibility to come prepared to class with all necessary supplies, homework completed, ready to learn. Students should arrive to class on time, be seated, and begin warm up immediately.
Reverent: St. Raphael’s school is a faith-based, Catholic School. This is key to our continued success and development. All students are required to memorize the Math prayer that is said in the beginning of class everyday.
Reflective: Your words, actions, and decisions do not only effect you but those around you. Before you decide to act, reflect upon how these actions impact others and you as a Christian.
Students found in violation of the above general rules, or any of St. Raphael’s other rules (e.g. absences, lateness, dress code, etc.) will meet consequences as prescribed by the St. Raphael’s Policies and Procedures / Student Handbook
Grading Policies:
Grading will follow St. Raphael’s Middle School Grading Policy, as follows:
~ Tests and Projects 50%
~ Quizzes 25%
~ Class Participation 15%
~ Homework 10%
