K. Sathiyamoorthy
Mr. K Sathiyamoorthy is a material researcher who works in the field of photocatalysis and two-dimensional (2D) materials. He joined the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology, SRM IST (formerly known as SRM University) in January 2020 as a Research scholar. He completed his master’s in physics from Periyar Arts College (Cuddalore-1), Thiruvalluvar University, and his bachelor’s in Physics from Periyar Arts College (Cuddalore-1), Thiruvalluvar University College. He is experienced in fabricating nanomaterials through physical and chemical routes. In physics and nanotechnology, he is experienced and equipped in handling UV-Vis spectrometer, XRD, and Photoluminescence (PL). Sathiyamoorthy’s focus of research is on tunning the material properties of perovskite material-based, 2-D carbon-based, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), and metal oxide for photocatalytic application. He presented his research at many reputed conferences and workshops.
