Dr. M. Geerthana, currently working in the field of Electrochemical analysis in Supercapacitor and photoelectrochemical water-splitting (PEC) with nanomaterials, coated on thin films like Nickel foam and FTO substrate. She joined as Post Doctoral Fellow at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) in December 2022. She has completed her Doctoral degree in Physics (2023) at Periyar University, Salem, India. She is an expert in handling Electrochemical workstations for various applications such as Supercapacitors, Fuel cells, water-splitting, and biosensors. She has been honored with a Women Scientist – A (WOS-A) Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (2018-2021). She has collaboration work with Dr. K. Asokan, Materials Science Division, Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi. She has published and presented her research work at National and Interanational conferences. During her Post-doctoral Fellow, she started to work on Photoelectrochemical water-splitting (PEC) and Supercapacitors using various metal oxides based on different synthesis processes and various coating techniques.
