Project cranos™ / Parabolic Flight
Hypothesis 1:
Robotic-assisted exergame training with cranos improves neuromuscular performance in astronauts suffering from microgravity-induced muscle atrophy.
Hypothesis 2:
Altitude training principles (e.g. St. Moritz) combined with cranos feedback architecture enhance athletic output – potentially even in parabolic flight conditions.
Testing approach:
We adapt the existing cranos-test-bench (craPos-based) to meet flight safety criteria and insurance requirements, enabling test series under partial gravity.
Goal: Validate motion patterns and system responses in 0g / 1.8g phases.
Evaluation metric:
The hypothesis is validated if expert and user feedback consistently exceeds 7/10 on key criteria: usability, physiological response, motivation, perceived value.
