Laurel Dell LEAP - Subcontractors

Subcontractors play an important role in our program, over the years we have been very fortunate to grow our Subcontractor Connections that we bring to our program. We work together to create the bond within our Community by continuing to work with some of the same Subcontractors year after year so our students not only benefit from that bond created but look forward to learning and engaging in new opportunities to benefit their future. Our Subcontractors have empowered the students in their own ways and showed them how full our community is of amazing opportunities. Having our subcontractors around has helped our students in various ways, by building confidence , guidance , and new interest in future career paths. Over the years these are a few of the companies we have been fortunate to work with. We hope to continue to grow and bring new opportunities for those students that may not have access to it outside of school.

Los subcontratistas desempeñan un papel fundamental en nuestro programa; a lo largo de los años, hemos tenido la fortuna de ampliar la red de colaboradores que integramos en nuestra iniciativa. Trabajamos unidos para fortalecer los vínculos dentro de nuestra comunidad, manteniendo colaboraciones constantes con los mismos subcontratistas año tras año; de este modo, nuestros estudiantes no solo se benefician de dichas relaciones, sino que también se muestran entusiasmados por aprender y aprovechar nuevas oportunidades que favorezcan su futuro. Nuestros subcontratistas han empoderado a los alumnos a su manera, mostrándoles la gran cantidad de oportunidades extraordinarias que ofrece nuestra comunidad. Contar con su participación ha beneficiado a los estudiantes de diversas formas: fomentando su confianza, brindándoles orientación y despertando su interés por futuras trayectorias profesionales. Estas son algunas de las empresas con las que hemos tenido el privilegio de colaborar a lo largo del tiempo. Esperamos seguir creciendo y ofrecer nuevas oportunidades a aquellos estudiantes que, de otro modo, tal vez no tendrían acceso a ellas fuera del entorno escolar.

TinkerTech offers programs of fun maker activities and coding challenges that get children creating and inventing quickly. Our instructors guide students through hands-on design and engineering challenges, students learn to make, code, problem-solve and collaborate.

Chess pals♟️

Our teachers are strong chess players currently in high school who mentor their students, using chess to teach lifelong skills, such as goal setting, consistent practice, good sportsmanship, and a growth mindset.

Youth in Arts builds visual and performing arts skills through innovative and in-depth programs that foster confidence, compassion and resilience in students of all abilities. We develop capacity among educators and teaching artists, advocate for equitable access to arts education and offer opportunities for youth to share their creative voices.

LEGO Education is a unique team of educators and innovators, and based on the LEGO® brick, we’ve built engaging learning experiences for over 40 years. But what we bring to the classroom is more than just fun - we’re serious about learning outcomes. We work alongside administrators to implement standards-aligned STEAM programs for Pre-K-8 that help students build their academic knowledge and essential skills like critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.
